HOSTING STUDENTS
In the winter of 2020, Germantown Friends Academy (GFS) approached Coette about building a program for their students during their J-Term called 'The Art of Hair'. This class was a 4 day program through the course of a month spent at our shop. Educating the girls on the science behind hair, how to style/braid and the potentials of choosing this career path. As a licensed educator, Coette was able to put together a lesson plan and inspire the youth for an unforgettable month for all.
SCHOOL VISITS
In 2019, Brianna was invited back to both her Middle and High School in the Hatboro-Horsham District to speak for their 'Girls Steam' program. She spoke about passion and the birth of Natural State engaging with the students about her story and how it lead her to that day. Speaking to the kids not only inspired them, but built an inner spark in her to continue sharing with those who will listen.
INDUSTRY EDUCATION
With new techniques everyday, sharing is caring in our industry! Here Brianna is teaching a class at B Styled on the Deva Curl Cut + Wash process. There is plenty of knowledge to go around, and our goal is to create a more balanced industry of education and shared knowledge - together.
